Psychiatrists
As a psychiatrist at New Dawn, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with various mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with both in-patient and out-patient populations, and engage in clinical research to further develop new treatments.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO)
Board-certified in psychiatry
Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NP)
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at New Dawn play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care, including assessments, diagnoses, and medication management for patients with psychiatric disorders.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry
Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
Experience with psychiatric medication management and patient care
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Clinical Psychologists
Our clinical psychologists are integral to providing psychotherapy and psychological assessments for individuals, couples, and families. You will be able to use evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more, to help patients manage their mental health conditions.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Licensed to practice as a psychologist in North Carolina
Strong background in individual and group therapy
Experience with a range of psychological assessments and interventions
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
Licensed Clinical Social Workers at New Dawn provide therapy and support for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. You will work closely with our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to create and implement treatment plans that best address each patient’s needs.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina
Experience in psychotherapy and mental health interventions
Empathetic, patient-focused approach
Clinical Research Coordinators
As a Clinical Research Coordinator at New Dawn, you will assist with the management and oversight of clinical research studies, ensuring they are conducted according to protocol and regulatory guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in mental health research and advancing psychiatric treatments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Psychology, Health Sciences, or similar)
Experience in clinical research coordination or related roles
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of FDA guidelines and GCP regulations is a plus
Administrative Support Staff
Our administrative team is the backbone of our organization, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing essential support to our clinical team. We are looking for detail-oriented, compassionate individuals to manage appointments, patient records, billing, and more.
Qualifications:
Previous administrative or medical office experience is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Electronic Health Records, etc.)
